To achieve the best and most stable result with your putting mat, we recommend a solid base.
Follow these three simple steps for the perfect foundation – a clean, long‑lasting finish:
Step 1: Remove approximately 15 cm of soil where the mat will be placed.
Step 2: Fill the base with a layer of compactable gravel (approx. 11 cm) and make sure to tamp it firmly so it becomes completely stable.
Step 3: Finish with a top layer of stone dust (approx. 4 cm), which you use to level and create a perfectly even surface.
With the right preparation, your mat will lie perfectly and maintain its great appearance season after season!
